UPDATE: PS5 gamers will have to wait longer for the Abandoned trailer app to launch.
The app – which will show in real-time how Abandoned will look running on the PS5 – had been pencilled in to launch today (Friday June 25).
However, in a new video Blue Box Game Studios’ Hasan Kahraman said the Abandoned PS5 trailer will now launch in August.
In the video Hasan said: “The last two weeks have been really stressful for us. The team is very tired.
”We were hoping to release the app today and I know a lot of you have been looking forward to it, so thank you very much for that.
”I really appreciate that. However I’ve decided to delay the app until August, that is when the first trailer will also be released.
”We just wanted to give you a solid first impression of the game. Right now the app isn’t quite there yet.”
ORIGINAL: The survival horror game, which has sparked plenty of speculation in recent weeks, is shrouded in mystery.
It had been rumoured Abandoned could actually be a secret Silent Hill project in disguise, but the developers – Blue Box Game Studios – have repeatedly come out to say they have “no relations” with Silent Hill makers Konami, nor do they have any leaks with Hideo Kojima – who created the PT demo and had been pencilled in to reboot the iconic survival horror franchise with Silent Hills.
And PS5 gamers will soon move a step closer to finding out more information about Abandoned.
